Economic Development Subcmte gets update on branding project, Franklin consultant selected (audio)

FM #1273 = This is the Franklin Matters radio show, number 1273 in the series. 

This session of the radio show shares the audio recording of the Economic Development Subcommittee (EDC) held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 in the Council Chambers. 

All four members of the subcommittee were present in Chambers (Hamblen, Chandler, Sheridan & Frongillo).

Deputy Administrator Amy Frigulietti provided an overview of the consultant selection process which was put out to bids, the bids reviewed, consultants interviewed, and then Franklin resident A.J. Rebecchi was announced as selected.

The branding survey responses and other materials collected in this effort will be shared with AJ as work on the branding continues. 

The town seal will remain for official documents. The branding effort will better position Franklin departmental information with a consistent look & feel, better enable sharing of info via the social channels, and be utilized gradually in the planned wayfinding signs, vehicles markings, etc.

Economic Development Subcommittee gets an update on the Marketing and Branding efforts (video)

The Economic Development Subcommittee met as scheduled July 17, 2024 at 5:45 PM in Council Chambers. Three members were present (Frongillo, Chandler, Sheridan) and one absent (Hamblen).

Deputy Town Administrator Amy Frigulietti provided an update on the marketing and branding project to date as well as the draft RFP for the next step, hiring a consultant to do the work of creating a new town logo.

The Town of Franklin seal would remain in use for official documents but the new logo would consolidate and streamline all the other departmental communications efforts.

Economic Development Subcommittee meeting - Oct 20, 2021 (audio)

FM #642 = This is the Franklin Matters radio show, number 642 in the series. 

This shares the Economic Development Subcommittee meeting that was held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. 

The meeting was started in a hybrid mode; all four committee members were participating; three were present in the Council Chambers, one via the Zoom connection. Some public participants and the Town Administration staff were in person. Other public participants were able to via the Zoom conference bridge. The fourth member eventually joined the meeting in person.
