Boys Soccer = Mansfield, 0 @ Franklin, 1 - Final
– A goal near the midway point of the second half proved to be the only difference in a hard-fought battle between visiting Mansfield and host Franklin. Senior Hansy Jacques was there to tuck away the rebound after Mansfield keeper Ty Duffin made a terrific save on a shot from Andrew O’Neill. “Both teams played excellent defense, Mansfield worked very hard,” said Franklin head coach Fran Bositis. Matt Sullivan helped keep the deficit at just one for the Hornets with a goal line clearance.

Girls Soccer = Franklin, 4 @ Mansfield, 1 – Final
– Franklin jumped out to a 3-0 lead and pulled out a tough road win that keeps the Panthers just one back of KP in the league title race. Julia Scarpellini scored Mansfield’s lone goal, off an Alexandra Fernandes cross, that cut the Franklin lead to 3-1.
