Tracey's story, to blog or not to blog

Via Tracey at The Little Shop of Oils starts a blog called "The Little Corner"

A special note from me…๐Ÿงก

Hey everyone, Tracey here. I’ve been working on something deeply personal and important to me, and today, I’m both excited and terrified to share it with you.✨

To blog or not to blog…that’s been the question for a long time.๐Ÿค”

I’ve kept this part of my story tucked away, hidden behind the scenes, but now, I’ve realized that vulnerability is a strength, not a weakness. So, despite the twisting in my stomach, I’m taking a leap of faith.✨

My first blog dives into a journey close to my heart – navigating life with MS while running The Little Shop. It’s my story of challenges, triumphs, and the raw realities of balancing health and entrepreneurship…

Franklin TV: Breakfast Anytime!

We’re in the kitchen with Linda Waters.

by Pete Fasciano, Executive Director 07/07/2024

The advertising world claims that:
“ Breakfast –
It’s the most important meal of the day.”
Linda Waters
Linda Waters

Uh-huh. Hence, the Pop-tart ? We can do better, people.

That is precisely what Linda Waters did during our recent day in the kitchen. She made breakfast magic with some new twists on bacon (literally).

And, her take on pancakes and potatoes? Yes! They were totally to die for.

We must note, incidentally, that there is no difficulty scheduling our staff to work on our cooking shows.
Gee! I wonder why.

They already have their sights (and their taste buds) set on Linda’s next scheduled production in mid-July.

If you have talent in the kitchen and a desire to share your skills – know that our hungry crew is highly motivated to make your cooking show dreams come true. Just give us a call. We will make it happen.

Thanks for listening to 102.9 wfpr●fm.
And – as always – thanks for watching.

Franklin 4th of July Fireworks info - no rain date

Via the Franklin Police Dept:

***FRANKLIN FIREWORKS***
Tomorrow (Saturday, July 6) night the fireworks are set to return to the high school weather permitting. If you’re out exploring Franklin you’ll see no parking signs throughout town (Panther Way, Oak Street by the schools, Daniel McCahill Way, and Main Street by the old Charter School and up to Main Street). Just so we’re all on the same page, no parking means no parking. There will be plenty of parking at the schools, ice rinks, and elsewhere around the common. Don’t forget about the carnival up at the common.
Around 9 pm we’ll begin to close roads. Expect closures of Church Square, Beaver Street at 140, all of Oak Street, the Highland/Lexington/Concord neighborhoods, and Union Street at 140.
Once the fireworks conclude traffic all traffic leaving the High School, Horace Mann, Oak Street, and ECDC will be directed towards Oak Street and Pond Street. No traffic will be allowed towards the common. Traffic coming from the ice rink will be directed towards 140.
There will be cones and saw horses out blocking roads. Just so we’re all on the same page again, if the road looks blocked…it’s probably blocked. Don’t drive around it, don’t move the barriers, and don’t run over the cones.
Other than that you can expect a FPD and FFD presence at the event. If you need anything give us a call or flag us down. We’ll see you tomorrow!
Lastly…there is no rain date for the fireworks!
