Senator Ross remarks on the efforts of the VFW to recognize as a "Purple Heart Community"
a resolution was made on Capitol Hill
a collaborative effort as Representative Roy joined in reading the resolution
design of the purple heart developed early on
oldest medal still being award today
August 7th as purple heart day
