The Franklin Police Department (FPD) is currently accepting applications for the position of patrol officer. The FPD offers a 4 on 4 off schedule, professional work environment, and generous education incentives. Applicants must:
1. Be graduates of the Full-time Basic Massachusetts Police Training Committee Police Academy or an equivalent academy.Interested candidates should email the following documents in Microsoft word or PDF format to apply@franklinma.gov:
2. Hold an Associate Degree or have an honorable discharge from the military (or have completed two years of military service and be in good standing) to be considered for employment. If a candidate is hired based on military experience, they must complete their Associates Degree within 42 months of hire.
