Scam Alert: protect your EBT benefits from skimming

Senator Becca Rausch shared this (and it is worth spreading)

"The Department of Transitional Assistance has reported cases of stolen benefits in Massachusetts. To protect your benefits from scams, change your EBT card PIN regularly, like before each time you get your benefits.
If you receive scam text messages noting your EBT card has been blocked, this message is NOT from the DTA. Never provide your personal information or card number to unidentified callers or in a link provided via text. Only call 800-997-2555 (the number on the back of your card) to change your PIN.
Learn more at Mass.gov/ProtectYourEBT."
