Boys Basketball = Division 1 = #3 Franklin, 47 vs. #14 Brockton, 56 – Final
"Ben Harvey wanted one last shot.Following Franklin’s 56-47 loss to Brockton in the MIAA Division 1 Round of 16 on Tuesday, the Franklin High basketball senior captain — still in full uniform nearly a half hour after the final whistle — took a basketball out onto the mostly-empty Panthers court and attempted a free throw.“Everyone knows the golden rule (that) you can’t end on a miss and I missed that (3-pointer) with eight seconds left so (I) had to end on a make,” Harvey said. “Free throws (have) been my most improved part of my game all year. So had to end it on a free throw.”
