Franklin Historical Museum hosts photos with Easter Bunny (4/9) and next speaker for Second Sunday Series (4/10)

Saturday April 9 – Bring the kids to have a fun photo taken with the Easter Bunny from 10:00AM to 12Noon. We’re thrilled to have this special visitor join us to delight the kids.

Sunday April 10 – The next installment of our Second Sunday Speaker Series features the return of Karen Antonowicz from Spirits of Fashion who will speak on the delightful era of the Swingin’ Sixties. Twiggy, Jean Shrimpton, Mary Quant, Biba, and the list goes on!  Discover the fashions of the Swingin’ Sixties, beginning with the Mod styles of London, traveling through the hippy era, and culminating in the bohemian styles and hot pants of the early ‘70s.  Join us to explore what drove these changing styles and how they affected people of all ages during this turbulent time!

Status update for 3

To Our Guests,

We are happy to report some good news from 3!  But first, I want to thank you all for the outpouring of support you have shown us over the past week.  We are truly grateful for such kind, thoughtful and loyal guests!

Fortunately, the COVID protocols we have in place at the restaurant were effective in preventing any spread of the virus inside the restaurant!  The restaurant has been thoroughly deep cleaned and while the restaurant and staff are ready to reopen, we  have decided to remain closed for a few extra days.  We expect to reopen after Easter, on Monday April 5.

This week our staff will receive a few bonus days off to relax and recharge while we tackle some building improvements such as the installation of new HVAC systems,  the installation of new kitchen equipment and the implementation of a new computer system.  Plus, our chefs will be putting the finishing touches on a delicious new spring menu and the bar team has created some amazing seasonal cocktails.

We hope to have all of these projects completed by next week in anticipation of welcoming you back into the restaurant for what we expect will be a bustling spring and summer season.
Thank you again and we wish you and your family a happy and healthy Easter week.

Cheers!

Stephen Corcoran

URCC Member Stone Ridge Grill and Bar Feeds First Responders on Easter Sunday

United Regional Chamber of Commerce Member (UCCC) Stone Ridge Grill and Bar's (SRGB) Chef Rob Nihil prepped and cooked dozens of family Easter dinners on Friday, getting everything perfect for pick up on Saturday. And owner Peter Kalemkeridis said that they sold out of every meal.

After that 13-hour shift, Chef Rob spent Saturday prepping and cooking 50 meals that SRGB supplied to local first responders at the COVID-19 Test Site in Foxboro. It was their way of saying thank you to the brave heroes who are on the front lines, keeping us safe.

SRGB hasn’t been open in Plainville for a year, but they have already shown that they value our community and its first responders.

SRGB is at 60 Man Mar Drive in Plainville. They are offering take-out, delivery, and curbside pick-up during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Here are some of the meals that were supplied to local first responders
