Youth track & field meets, Jul 19 & Jul 26 at Franklin High School

"If you haven’t heard yet the Franklin Youth/Open track meets are back. Join us next Tuesday July 19th and again on the 26th! 
Registration and field events start at 5:30 & running events start at 6 PM. $5 gets into as many races as you want!  
Volunteers are also welcome"

FHS girls tennis win to advance in playoffs, 3 medals at Outdoor track State meet

Not the outcome we had hoped for losing today 10-8 to a good Newton North team but we fought until the end. Whole team effort all the way through. Girls Tennis - Division 1 = #35 Lynn Classical, 0 @ #30 Franklin, 5 – Final
FHS GT wins first playoff match against Lynn Classical 5-0! Izzy Trull, Chloe Essam and Sarah Schiavo all with straight set wins. Doubles duos of Vedika Vinayak/Brooke Daniels & Amulya Jayam/Allison Bagley also didn't drop a set. FHS girls track take 8th in D1 meet; led by 1st place in Javelin (Hopkins) and 1st in 4x400 Relay (O Costa, Fenerty, Cuneo, Cliff)

The MIAA D1 track & field championships were completed on Sunday. Part of the meet was executed on Friday, the remainder was scheduled for Saturday and with the weather - rescheduled to Sunday.

FHS girls outdoor track team finished in 8th place with 44 points. The boys team finished tied for 29th place with 1 point.
