Boys Soccer = Mansfield, 0 @ Franklin, 1 – Final
– Senior Will McAuley scored just after the midway point of the first half and Franklin’s defense registered its seventh shutout of the season, and the Panthers secured a share of the Kelley-Rex division with a 1-0 win over Mansfield. It marked the Panthers’ fifth straight Kelley-Rex division title, this one shared with Milford.

Via Instagram, Franklin TV, and our subscription to HockomockSports.com, we share the results of the Fall sports competition for Franklin High School on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

Girls soccer = Franklin, 4 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final
– Franklin scored three unanswered goals to secure a road win and continue its unbeaten run through league play. Hailey Leblanc opened the scoring for the Panthers, assisted by Phoebe Cuneo. After the Black Knights tied the match, Claire Michel added a brace before halftime, both assisted by Bethany Rappa, to give the Panthers a cushion going into the break. Lily Strong added an unassisted goal in the second half to put the game away.

Boys soccer = Stoughton, 2 @ Franklin, 4 – Final
– "A pair of second-half goals from junior Cam Lambert helped Franklin pull away from Stoughton for a Senior Night win Wednesday in an important Kelley-Rex Division clash.

The Panthers grabbed the first lead, fell behind 2-1, and then scored three unanswered goals to earn a 4-2 win.

“Playing for the seniors tonight, myself, all three captains [Deacon Eglintine, Will McAuley and Zach O’Mahony-O’Sullivan], all the seniors, it’s good to get those guys who don’t normally get as many minutes — especially the seniors — on the field,” senior Deacon Eglintine, a defenseman, said. “Give them that extra time that they deserve, so it was big for all of us to pull one out today.”

Girls Soccer = Medfield, 4 @ Franklin, 3 – Final
– Franklin led Medfield, the defending Div. 3 champs and the top team in several state polls, 3-1 midway through the first half, but the Warriors rallied with three unanswered goals to pull out the victory. Lily Strong opened the scoring for the Panthers, running onto a loose back pass, touching it past the last defender, and finding the bottom corner. Medfield equalized in the 13th minute but just two minutes later Franklin was back in front. Anna Carosi dropped a pass to Laila Rosen, who stepped between a pair of Medfield players and fired a 30-yard shot just under the bar. Strong completed her brace in the 20th minute. Pheobe Cuneo split open the Medfield defense with a through ball and Strong coolly lifter her finish over the onrushing keeper. Medfield got one back before the break and leveled the score six minutes after the break from the penalty spot. The Warriors went in front for the first time in the 52nd minute. Devyn Cairns made a nice kick save to deny Medfield a breakaway goal, but the ensuing corner was played short and the shot curled inside the far post. The Panthers got off to a strong start and grabbed the lead in the 18th minute. Strong hoofed a high ball across the box, which the North defense struggled to clear. Claire Michel reacted first to the bouncing ball and beat her marker to knock the ball over the line. The score stayed the same until the final two minutes of the first half. Six minutes later, Hannah Griffith slipped Rosen into space on the right side of the box and she ripped a shot in off the far post. North got one back with nearly the last kick of the match. The Panthers erased that deficit just 30 seconds into the second half when Cooper Waddell’s service found Will McAuley in the area. McAuley’s bid was blocked but Ethan Herndon got just enough of his one-time volley to sneak one under the keeper to make it 1-1. The winner came with just under five minutes to as Matthew MacNeil rose up to win a header just outside the box that bounced to Jake Boyd and his shot deflected off the defender and into the net to put the visitors ahead for good. Drew Klawson played well in net in his first varsity game.

Junior Ethan Herndon started the opening goal just two minutes in with a long throw that junior Jake Boyd half-volleyed toward goal, where senior Deacon Eglintine redirected it near the post and off a defender for the lead. Franklin doubled it in the 13th after Eglintine hit the post, junior Cam Lambert found Herndon for a one-timer that was saved, and Eglintine collected the rebound before teeing up Boyd for a one-time finish inside the box. Canton pulled one back in the 24th when junior Jack Moran’s touch sent junior John DiLorenzo into the box, where he was taken down, and senior Nawfal Hijou converted the penalty. Field Hockey = Franklin, 2 @ Foxboro, 1 – Final

Sophomore Mallory Feetham put the Warriors in front in the second quarter, but sophomore Cade Taccini pulled Franklin level in the third off an assist from junior Penelope Brady. Senior Caydence Canavan then scored the go-ahead goal in the fourth with just four minutes to go. Foxboro generated heavy pressure late, earning three corners in the final minute and putting shots on net on the first two before Franklin cleared the final chance wide after time expired. Junior goalie Elise Ackerman made four outstanding saves for the Panthers, while Franklin’s defense of senior Jossie Camp, juniors Clara Blongastainer and Sammy Feigen, and sophomore Rhian Schlitzer held firm down the stretch. “I am so proud of this team for rallying in the second half to come from behind and score two goals to win the game,” Franklin head coach Michelle Hess said.

Boys Soccer = Franklin, 1 @ King Philip, 1 – Final
– Franklin and King Philip traded first half goals and then played 40 minutes of scoreless soccer to settle for a point apiece in the season opener. Junior Cam Lambert put the visitors up inside the opening 10 minutes, finishing off a pass from classmate Ethan Herndon to give Franklin a 1-0 lead. Just before halftime, senior Iago Oliveira had a shot from 20 yards out hit off the post and senior Nick Wendling was first to the loose ball, poking the rebound in to tie it.

The Panthers took the lead in the 17th minute. Madison Griffith sprung Phoebe Cuneo down the right wing. After some confusion in the center of the KP defense, the loose ball popped out to Strong on the edge of the box and she slotted it into the empty net. KP nearly equalized a few minutes later, but Ava Quintin’s 25-yard free kick hit the underside of the bar and somehow stayed out. On the rebound, freshman Lola Weeman had a header inside the six saved by Devyn Cairns. Strong would force a good save from Emma Weiblin and Hannah Griffith went close after getting on the end of a free kick, but it stayed 1-0 at the break. Franklin started the second half well and nine minutes in the Panthers doubled their lead. Cuneo won the ball back in midfield and sent a through ball to Strong in the right channel. A slightly heavy touch nearly took the chance away, but Strong managed to get to the ball before the keeper and square it for a wide open Cuneo to tap in. Three minutes later, KP (which was playing without star Ella McDonald) got on the board. Avery Hebert’s long throw from the left wing dropped in the box and Molly Morgan was able to corral the bouncing ball and squeeze it in at the near post, just under the arm of Cairns, to cut the deficit to 2-1. Laila Rosen restored the two-goal cushion just five minutes later with a terrific solo effort. She won the ball back in midfield, drove forward, shrugged off a challenge just outside the box, and from the edge of the area rifled a left-footed shot into the far bottom corner. Hailey Leblanc capped off the day with her first varsity goal on a chip from the right side of the box that snuck under the bar.

Field Hockey = King Philip, 2 @ Franklin, 3 – Final
– Click here for a photo gallery of this game. – Ella Marzullo’s second goal of the game proved to be the difference as Franklin held off King Philip to open the season with a win. The senior intercepted a clearance attempt, juggled the ball into the circle, and then ripped a high shot past the keeper with eight minutes left to put the Panthers up 3-1. KP rallied to pull within one when Caitlyn McManus set up Ella Morgan in front with five minutes to go, but the Panthers were able to close out the win. Marzullo opened the scoring two minutes into the game on a well-worked corner from the hosts. Lila Reardon sent the original pass out to Penelope Brady who shuffled it over to Caydence Canavan, and her blast toward goal was tipped in by Marzullo out in front. King Philip tied the game with less than a minute left in the opening quarter when Morgan gained control just past midfield and used her speed to take it all the way into the circle, firing a near post shot in. Amelia Manning put the hosts back in front just two minutes into the third off a pass from Marzullo. KP had a chance to tie the game in the third but junior Elise Ackerman (three saves) made a terrific stick save on a penalty stroke to keep Franklin ahead. Sophomore Bella Pennini made six saves in net for the Warriors. Franklin head coach Michelle Hess credited Jossie Camp (defense) and Cade Taccini (midfield) with strong performances.
