Talking is great, but everyone isn’t great at it. And forcing an unwilling, uneasy, or unskillful talker into a big conversation can backfire in a thousand painful ways. (Ask us how we know.)
In some cases, quiet action is a more empathic choice than conversation.
(Think: sticky situations, hot tempers, neurodiversity, tender topics, time constraints, emotional exhaustion, privacy requests, trust issues, laryngitis…)
Sometimes the most helpful thing we can say is to do. In moments like that, instead of sharing, take a meaningful action–even in secret. Because it’s not always about communicating to someone, but honoring the connection enough to give them what they need."

Free lunch program for summertime on Tues-Weds-Thu at Bellingham Library
Franklin Food Pantry in collaboration with the Hockomock YMCA:

We've partnered with @hockomockymca provide no-cost lunches to children (age 18 and under) and their caregivers on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
The program runs through August 14, 2025, and there is no paperwork or registration – just show up and enjoy a free lunch.
Additional no-cost lunch sites are at Memorial School in Milford (M, T, W, Th, and F from 11 AM to 12:30 PM), and the Jackson Elementary School in Plainville (T and Th, 12:15 to 1 PM).

New charges filed in driving under the influence case
via Norfolk County District Attorney
Blanchard is expected to be arraigned on the new charge Tuesday in Wrentham District Court.
via Norfolk County District Attorney Blanchard is the driver of a pickup truck that collided on May 24 with a car, resulting in the death of a 5-year-old passenger in the car and serious injuries to other occupants.The new charge is related to the death of Minaben Patel, 38, of Franklin, a passenger in the car who succumbed to her injuries later at an area hospital.Blanchard was arraigned previously on May 27 on motor vehicle homicide while driving negligently under the influence of alcohol and other charges related to the crash. He was ordered held in jail on $250,000 cash bail."
