Live reporting will continue from Town and School meeting but effectively immediately will no longer be posted to Twitter/X.

This has been a developing scenario but I am now convinced that there is no benefit to posting there.

You can find updates after the meeting on Facebook. Instagram has been added to that distribution.

I am currently evaluating the use of @Threads for the live meeting posts, or a return to updating the webpage at franklinmatters.org/ (which would also likely mean bringing my laptop back to meetings. Ah, choices...).

Existentialism from an occupied city.

Nihilism from a generation promised change and handed nothing.

Philosophy doesn’t come from nowhere. It comes from collapse.

Town of Franklin Snow storm update 11:18 AM - 2/23/26

An update from Town Administrator Jamie Hellen from 11:18 AM
"Power outages have been minimal, town properties are in good shape so far, and crews are working to stay ahead of the snow. A few pieces of apparatus have broken down and are being worked on. A couple of contractors have had equipment issues, too.  All staff and contractors are present. So far operations have been very good.

The cleanup will be extensive and time-consuming. We are meeting again at 4:00 and will let everyone know about Tuesday's schools/town offices after that."
