"I think of the guys who sacrificed for us"

The Senior Center was the site for recognition of the many veterans who live in Franklin. As reported in the Milford daily News:
Veterans Agent Bob Fahey began the ceremony by recognizing all of the men and woman from Franklin who have served in the military. 
Currently, the town has 1,343 veterans, with 899 of them 60 years or older. "We call them our senior veterans," Fahey said, eliciting some laughs from everyone. 
To date, he said, 45 residents have been killed in action overseas.
