Boys Soccer = Franklin, 1 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final
– Stoughton got off to a great start with a goal in the opening minutes but Franklin pulled back the equalizer in the second half to record a 1-1 draw on the road. Senior Anthony Damasio handed the Knights the early advantage, a lead that the hosts carried into halftime. Senior Garrett Scagliarini put the Panthers on the board with an unassisted second half strike.
Girls Soccer = Stoughton, 2 @ Franklin, 4 – Final
– After Stoughton evened the score, Franklin added two more goals before halftime and another in the second half to pull away, stay unbeaten this season, and keep a share of first place in the Kelley-Rex. The Panthers opened the scoring after seven minutes, but Stoughton equalized off a corner. Morgan Cook played the ball into the box but partially cleared. Laila Bernard sent the ball back in and Bianca Casna connected to make it 1-1. Franklin would score three straight goals to break the game open. Stoughton would get one back in the final five minutes, as Lauren Mitchell buried a 25-yard free kick and wrapped up the scoring. Mitchell and Maddie Burke played solid games defensively for the Black Knights under constant Franklin pressure.
