Calling All Seniors- Come Participate in our First Annual Senior Olympics!! From a 1/2 mile walk to a Bocce Tournament to even a Watermelon Carving Contest- we have a lot of opportunities for you to compete while having fun! Get out of your comfort zone, athlete or not, and join us June 13-17, 2022!

Yoga, which has been around since the 15th century, helps to quiet the mind & improve health, for all levels - whether you are a beginner or experienced. Join us for a great way to spend the winter!
Vinyasa Flow Yoga OR Yoga For Anyone
Prices vary
This class will empower teenagers to become more self-aware and confident. The girls will gain a sense of well-being while developing strength and flexibility. They will also learn breathing and relaxation techniques.
8 weeks - $80/person
LaBlast is an energizing dance fitness program that uses easy to follow ballroom dance patterns. Students will learn the basic steps of several dance styles, while enjoying music from all genres. Classes are low impact and for all levels of fitness. Partner-free and no experience necessary. 
10 weeks - $90/person

YMCA - Open House for Group Exercise & Personal Training Programs - Nov 19-20

Join us on Friday, November 19th and Saturday, November 20th for an Open House to experience our Group Exercise and Personal Training programs at the Y! This is a 2-day health & wellness celebration at our Y to try something new and challenge yourself. Bring your friends (for free) to the Open House, too! No registration required.

We will have personal trainers, wellness floor staff, and our nutritionist available to welcome you and answer your wellness questions. See you at the Y!

Franklin Public Schools: Please don't use school grounds during school hours

"We are sharing the following message from Franklin Public Schools:

As public facilities, the Franklin Public Schools is pleased to share our grounds and facilities with the community whenever possible outside of school hours.  However, our priority is always our students’ health and safety, so we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in not walking, jogging, running, walking dogs on school properties during school hours, including arrival and dismissal.  The only exception for dogs includes students and school visitors requiring service animals in compliance with ADA requirements and district policy.  

Our school hours are as follows:

  • ECDC: 9:15 AM - 3:15 PM
  • Elementary Schools: 8:15 AM - 3:00 PM  
  • Middle Schools - 7:10 AM - 2:30 PM 
  • High School - 7:15 AM - 2:30 PM

This is where you will see the options for virtual programming (online usually via zoom) and who to contact to join.  Please reach out to the hosts in advance so that you get the invite link for the program you want to attend.
