"Get a head start by organizing your financial documents"

From the MA.GOV blog, they share some of the links to the common MA personal income tax forms. Yes, now that we are in 2015, April 15 (tax deadline) is approaching daily. While the Super Bowl comes first, and spring training is around the corner, we are in 'tax season.'

Tax season is upon us, and that can mean stress for Massachusetts residents and workers who don’t have the documents they need to file returns and payments by the April 15, 2015 deadline.

While the Department of Revenue (DOR) encourages online filing of Massachusetts state income taxes withWebFile for Income, you can make filing a paper return as easy as possible by having the right forms and information at your fingertips.

WebFile for Income is only available to full-year residents. Part-year residents and non-residents can file electronically using commercial software or a professional tax preparer.

Verizon: Important storm-related updates regarding your Verizon FiOS services

This time of year, we maintain a particularly watchful eye for winter storms and the many inconveniences they bring. As the upcoming nor'easter bears down, we want you to know that we're ready. Whether brief or lengthy, a power outage is one of the most common storm-related occurrences. Knowing that, we have already deployed resources to help our customers that could be impacted.

What should I do in the event of a power outage?

Visit verizon.com/outage from your smartphone, or other wireless device to:

•	Track current outages
•	Find answers to equipment repair and backup service questions
•	Create a "Repair Request" if needed

Do I need to reset anything once power is restored?

Most issues can be resolved by unplugging and plugging your Verizon equipment back in (Set Top Box, Router, etc). If that doesn't resolve your issues, you may need to restart your Optical Network Terminal (ONT) by following these instructions. For additional troubleshooting assistance, download our In-Home Agent application.

NationalGrid: Be Prepared for the Winter Storm

Major Winter Storm

A winter storm system will continue hitting our area with blizzard-like conditions including high winds, freezing temperatures and moderate coastal flooding.

National Grid field crews and support personnel have been deployed in the event the weather causes damage to our region's electric system. We have increased staffing and field personnel and are ready to address any service issues that may arise from the storm.

While storm preparations are important, so too is the safety of our customers and employees. Please exercise caution and keep a safe distance from crew work locations, especially when driving where visibility might be limited by snow.

Here are some tips to help keep everyone informed and safe:

•		To report an outage, please call 1-800-465-1212, visit www.ngrid.com/juno or download our mobile app on the Apple iTunes or Droid stores.
•		Power problems can sometimes interrupt public water supply systems or disable well pumps. Please make sure to have a good supply of bottled drinking water handy, as well as some canned food and flashlight with batteries.
•		Never touch downed power lines, and always assume that any fallen lines are live electric wires. If you see one, report it immediately to National Grid by calling 1-800-465-1212.
•		If you use a generator to supply power during an outage, be sure to operate it outdoors. Before operating generators, disconnect from National Grid's system by shutting off the main breaker located in the electric service panel. Failure to do this could jeopardize the safety of line crews and the public.
•		If you lose power, turn off any appliances that were on when the power went off, but leave one light on so you will know when power is restored.
•		Check on elderly family members, neighbors and others who may need assistance during an outage period.
•		People who depend on electric-powered life support equipment, such as a respirator, should let National Grid know. To register as a life support customer, call the company's Customer Service Center at 1-800-322-3223.

Representative Roy Announces Franklin & Medway Office Hours

Representative Roy Announces Office Hours

State Representative Jeffrey Roy (D-Franklin) announced today that constituent office hours will be held in Medway and Franklin for the Month of February on the following days:

Medway – Saturday, February 7^th 10:00-11:00AM, Muffin House Café, 116 Main Street Medway, MA 02053
Franklin – Thursday, February 26^th, 8:30-9:30AM, Franklin Senior Center, 10 Daniel McCahill Street Franklin, MA 02038

Christopher Yancich, his legislative aide, will be accompanying him.

Representative Roy stated that all office hours are open to any residents of Franklin and Medway who may have questions or concerns that they wish to bring to his attention. Walk-ins are welcome; no appointment necessary. He looks forward to hearing from you.

Franklin Public Schools: no school Tuesday or Wednesday

A message from FRANKLIN PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT

Hello

Based on direction from our public safety officials all schools will be closed on Tuesday 1/27 and Wednesday 1/28.

There will be no school activities Monday 1/26, Tuesday 1/27 or Wednesday 1/28.

All School buildings will be closed during this . Town Hall will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday as well.

There will be no Recreation programs nor evening basketball.

We wanted to convey the information early so families may make plans.

The HS schedule of exams will be disseminated by the HS administration.
