Conversation with Ted McIntyre - "Making Sense of Climate" #6 - 04/05/22 (audio)

FM #777 = This is the Franklin Matters radio show, number 777 in the series.

This session of the radio show shares my conversation with Ted McIntyre, Franklin resident and climate activist. We recorded this via the Zoom conference bridge Apr 5, 2022.

Ted helps me “make sense of climate” and we hope this helps with your understanding as well. We started with a couple of updates and then got into a discussion on how the MA state government is organized and how the organizations play their role.

If you have climate questions or Franklin specific climate questions, send them in and we’ll try to answer them in a future session

The recording runs about 40 minutes, so let’s listen to my conversation with Ted. Audio file -> https://franklin-ma-matters.captivate.fm/episode/fm-777-making-sense-of-climate-6-04-05-22

Boston Globe: "Franklin’s Brigid Earley has flipped sides of the lacrosse field, but she’s thriving anyway"

"When Brigid Earley made the position switch from attack to goal ahead of the 2021 season, she knew the transition would be a challenge. She expected to face a learning curve. She anticipated having to practice twice as hard.

But she didn’t expect the circular bruises dotting her legs after every practice.

“That was just a new part of me that I had to live with for the season,” said Earley, now a senior. “I guess I wasn’t expecting it, but it just shows that I got through it.”

Last spring, with a void in goal, Franklin turned to Earley, then an attack on the junior varsity. At 6-foot-1, Earley was the obvious choice to take over in net."
