Give Thanks by Giving Back: Support the Hockomock Area YMCA’s Thanksgiving Food Drive

As Thanksgiving approaches, the Hockomock Area YMCA is inviting the community to help make the holiday special for local families by donating essential food items to help local families enjoy their Thanksgiving meal, through donations made to Lenore’s Pantry & Market.

Give Thanks by Giving Back: Support the Hockomock Area YMCA’s Thanksgiving Food Drive
Every donation, big or small, makes a difference in helping families gather around the table and enjoy a Thanksgiving meal. Community members are encouraged to contribute the following items now through November 16th:
• Stuffing mix
• Dessert mixes (cookies, brownies, cakes, etc.)
• Cornbread or cornbread mixes
• Canned cranberry sauce
• Canned vegetables (green beans, corn, carrots, etc.)
• Boxed potatoes (mashed or au gratin)
• Canned fruit (apples, peaches, pears, etc.)
• Gravy
Grocery store gift cards are also welcome. Gift cards allow the YMCA to purchase additional items as needed and help create consistent, balanced meal items for all  guests served at Lenore’s Pantry & Market. While gift cards are appreciated, food donations remain the YMCA’s top preference.

Donations can be dropped off at Lenore’s Pantry & Market, located at 451 Elm Street in North Attleborough, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., now through Monday, November 16th.

Donations can be dropped off at Lenore’s Pantry & Market
Donations are also accepted at any Hockomock Area YMCA branch during regular YMCA operating hours which is Monday through Friday 5:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. or Saturday & Sunday 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Thanksgiving is a time to come together, show gratitude and care for our neighbors. Through the generosity of the community, the Hockomock Area YMCA can help ensure more local families have the opportunity to celebrate the holiday with meal items to share.

Every contribution makes a difference. Thank you in advance for your donated items and for helping make Thanksgiving a little bit brighter for local families through this YMCA Food Drive.

Lenore’s Pantry & Market welcomes individuals and families from all communities.  No proof of residency is required to receive food assistance. For more information and registration, visit: https://www.hockymca.org/lenores-food-pantry-and-market/
