"Franklin had their second meet of the season tonight and came up with a W!!
We had such a blast competing against North Attleboro great team energy great crowd and fun atmosphere!! North was also competing against KP and having all the teams there especially where so many of them workout in the same club or during off season together, made it even more fun cheering each other on!! Final score FHS 118.25 NAHS 117.8 such a close match!!Kendra Love was a strong AA putting up 3 of the teams highest scores in Bars, Beam and Floor. Ciara O'Brien debuting as an AA, putting up the second highest in 3 of her 4 events in Vault, Bars and Floor. First year Veronica Pimentel still proving to be consistent with her scores counting on both Floor and Vault. First year Chrissy Beaupre also made her debut coming back from injury competing strong and clean on beam with her score counting towards our team score. Senior Captains Molly Chandler and Bella Jacoby continue to do their job landing their skills being consistent and contributing their scores to our overall team score. Highlight scores tied on Vault Ciara and Molly C with 8.3, Kendra on Floor with an 8.35.The team continues to come together, working hard and making progress. Pictured below are all the athletes who compete in the same gym or workout together in the off season in some capacity."

Secretary Ed Augustus Jr. stopped to visit the Franklin Housing Authority on Monday
"Today, I visited three of our local housing authorities in Medfield, Millis and Franklin.
This makes 95 visits to see first-hand the challenges of our public housing and how the investments in the Affordable Homes act will make a meaningful difference in people's lives. "
Boston Globe: "State spent $8 million on mail-in voting"
"Just less than half of the roughly 3.5 million voters who cast a ballot in November’s elections here did so in person on Election Day, Secretary of State William Galvin’s office said in a new report on the roughly $8 million costs associated with the popular vote-by-mail option. The report filed with the Legislature this month details many of the costs connected to Galvin’s responsibilities as chief elections officer for the state, and the requirements of the 2022 law that allows voters to cast their ballots by mail or during a dedicated early voting window. Not counting the costs of printing ballots and envelopes, assembling ballot kits and reimbursing local election officials for unfunded mandates, Galvin said the vote-by-mail effort cost a little more than $8 million ($8,005,676.43 to be precise), including nearly $2 million in postage for voters to return ballots, for the September primaries and November’s general election."

"It's that time of year again!
After failed attempts to coordinate this event to fundraise for a good cause in the Franklin community, we are stuck with just jumping in cold water.
Please bring as many friends and family as possible.
Looking forward to seeing everyone bright and early on Jan 1, 2025"

"The only way to keep rents low for everyone is to add more housing" (video)
“The evidence is clear: building a lot of new housing at all income levels keeps prices down—and reduces homelessness. This great new video by @jj_under will likely be the first thing I send people getting interested in the housing crisis.”https://x.com/mnolangray/status/1873785670755639367

"building a lot of new housing at all income levels keeps prices down—and reduces homelessness" |
“If we don't build housing to meet demand, it's not like people just magically disappear. The demand doesn't go away. Instead high income residents turn to older units and bid up the price. The only way to keep rents low for everyone is to add more housing. Only abundant housing supply relieves market rent.”Direct link to quote in video -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQW4W1_SJmc&t=1273s Start to watch the full video here -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQW4W1_SJmc
“When I graduated from college many people asked me, "What in the world are you going to do with a degree in economics, theater and math?" Well I can now proudly say I found the perfect combination for my studies-- I do my own investigative research (involving econ and math!) to tell stories that are off the beaten path. And I have definitely found a use for all of these skills as a writer, storyteller and journalist.”
